Another Weekend Over

Well, we have come to the end of another weekend : ( They seem to go by so fast. It was a good weekend though. On Friday, Morgan went over to Nonnie and Papa's to stay the night so David and I could go out : ) It was so nice to have some alone time. We were supposed to pick Morgan up late Saturday afternoon but plans changed and we ended up having to pick her up early Saturday morning. Nonnie called and woke us up to tell us that Ryan (my cousin) was in a car wreck and was in the hospital. It turns out that he is okay but he has a broken collar bone and some bruising and his car is totalled. He was released from the hospital a few hours later and is going to stay with Nonnie and Papa until he heals up. So, we picked Morgan up early so that he could rest without a two year old climbing all over him. Last night, we had a dinner party at our house and it went really well. Today we went to Nonnie's after church for a big family lunch. Ryan seemed to be pretty out of it from his meds but at least he wasn't in pain. Morgan had a blast going from person to person. After we left lunch we headed over to Nana's house for a visit. Morgan loved hanging out with Nana and Sally (her puppy). By the time we got home it was dinner time and it dawned on me that Morgan had not taken a nap all day!!! I put her to bed much earlier than usual and she didn't seem to mind at all : ) I just hope she doesn't get up before the sun tomorrow : )
