Going Non-Stop

Time is flying by around here these days on account that we haven't had much of a break. It seems like the past two weeks have been filled with endless activity. The biggest amount of time has been spent at appointments. Between me going to the doctor weekly now and Morgan having all kinds of appointments we have had an appointment everyday for two weeks straight! Morgan had a doctors appointment, two visits with Ms Rachel, two visits with Ms Alicia, and two dentist appointments. The dentist appointments were the most stressful even though we absolutely love Morgan's dentist. Morgan went in for a routine exam last week and I was a little concerned because lately she has been saying her front tooth hurt. I couldn't see a cavity but nonetheless she was bothered by it. It was time for her 6 month check-up/cleaning anyway so I informed the dentist about her complaint. Sure enough, Morgan had a slight bit of decay on the tooth in question : ( All of this was bad news for us because of Morgan's extreme dislike of things in her mouth (Morgan has always been sensitive to anything in her mouth and certain textures. Brushing her teeth is an ordeal every time and dental visits are very traumatic for her). The dentist suggested trying a fluoride based prescription gel on the area for a short time to see if the discomfort subsided but over the weekend Morgan started waking up at night complaining about tooth pain. I called the dentist back and set up another appointment to fill Morgan's tooth under conscience sedation. Morgan actually did really well during the procedure and hasn't complained of tooth pain since. Now hopefully Morgan will not need anymore dental work done for a long time. As for me, I am so ready to have this baby despite the fact we have not picked a name yet : / Yes, I know we are cutting it close but we have it narrowed to three options. My doctors visits have all been going smooth, no complications this go round : ) The past couple of days I have been having lots of contractions but no pattern yet. I am also starting to swell : ( I know I need to take it easy these last two weeks but I just have so much to do and it's hard to take it easy with a very active three year old. Who knows, maybe he will come early : )
