Sick : (

As I mentioned in a previous post, Morgan is on her second antibiotic in the past few weeks for a persistent sinus infection. Well, I had been noticing that the past several days she seemed to be getting worse and that she had begun to run a high fever. I had made up my mind last night that she would be going back to the pediatrician today. Then, in the middle of the night I woke up completely sick and miserable with similar symptoms to Morgan (ie. coughing, sore throat, head congestion, headache, etc). I was up for the rest of the night uncomfortable and worried. It's uncomfortable enough being 35 weeks pregnant but then to add cold/flu like symptoms on top of that is miserable. First thing this morning I called and got Morgan in to the pediatrician as planned. He ran several test, including a flu culture, all of which came back negative. Finally, he diagnosed Morgan as having a virus on top of her sinus infection : ( My poor baby girl! There is nothing I can do for her other than Tylenol. We just have to wait it out. I then called my doctor and told him about Morgan and how I not have the same symptoms and of course I was given the typical rest, take Tylenol for fever, and drink lots of fluids. Naturally, I don't want to do anything to harm the baby so I am following his instructions to a T and trying to take care of Morgan all at the same time. At this point, I am just praying that this virus will run it's course quickly.
