Allergies and A Nasty Virus
This past week the pollen count has been extremely high and we are all suffering as a result. It all started with David mowing the yard last weekend, he came in sneezing up a storm and his eyes were severely red and swollen. Of course, since the weather has been so beautiful we have practically lived outside over the past week. The crazy winter we had had made us all desperate to spend time outdoors. The kids have loved it! Morgan spends hours playing in the backyard and Carson is getting his first taste of playing outside. He has really enjoyed sitting out on a blanket with his toys as well as swinging. We even made it to the park a couple of times. The consequence to our outdoor fun is the dreaded allergies. Morgan has had a terrible time despite her allergy medicine. Then to add insult to injury she ended up with a virus. Luckily, it was short lived but nonetheless it was miserable. My allergies kicked in too and by yesterday I had caught Morgans virus. I am feeling better today but not 100%. I have to get well by this weekend because we have a jam packed weekend. The lucky one in all this is my healthy little Carson. Other then the occasional sneeze after spending time outside he has shown no allergy symptoms. Despite the allergies that come along with it, I love spring. My flower beds look beautiful! It is so nice to look outside and see colorful flowers and green grass. The house is still on the market. I was hoping for a lot of showings this coming weekend but it is supposed to rain. Hopefully a little rain doesn't stop the house hunters. David and I have found a couple of houses down south we like but are still undecided. In addition to selling this house, and house hunting, I am trying to plan Morgans 4Th birthday party. It is so crazy to think that my baby is turning four at the end of next month! Morgan has requested a pink cowgirl party. Unfortunately, the company I always order her invitations from do not have a pre-designed pink cowgirl invite so I am forced to have one custom made. Luckily, I trust the owner/designer enough to make the perfect invitation. Now if I could just decide on how I'm going to design the cake. Party planning is so stressful! Well, enough rambling. I need to take some tylenol and try to prepare for my day.
