Home
After much drama last week with coordinating the closings (I do not recommend closing on two houses on the same day in separate cities) we are settling into our new home. We were able to close last Friday despite a few hiccups and the movers came on Saturday to unload our stuff. Today has been the first day that I've felt settled, up until now I have been so busy organizing (you know how ocd David and I are about having things organized and free of clutter). We absolutely love our new neighborhood! We have met several neighbors and all of them seem like wonderful people. We even have two high school girls (one on each side) that have expressed an interest in babysitting! Yes : ) They both seem like good girls and are both certified in CPR and are former lifeguards. We also have some younger kids just up the road that are closer to Morgan and Carson's ages. The kids are adjusting well. Morgan loves her new room. It is funny, whenever we leave the house to run an errand, Morgan always asks if we can go back to our new house ; ) Luckily, Carson is young enough that he really hasn't reacted to the move. I am still trying to learn my way around the town. I have some of the basics down like, the grocery store, bank, a couple of restaurants, and the mall. David has taken off for the week to help get settled. It has been so nice having him here that it will be hard to see him go back to work next week. At least he only has a 15 minute commute now instead of his old 2 hour commute : ) I think we are all going to be really happy here : ) It is a beautiful town, a great house, and we are surrounded by great people. We are blessed.
