Sorry it has been so long since I last posted but things have been so busy with the upcoming move. The exciting news is that Morgan is now a four year old! Our little girl turned four on the 26th of May and had a cowgirl party on the 29th. On her actual birthday, Nonnie and I took her to the zoo and she got to pick out a toy from the gift shop. Then we got a big surprise when we got home... there was a puppy in our backyard. This poor little starving, dehydrated puppy snuck in under the fence and was on the patio. I tried for over week to find an owner and no one claimed him so now we have a new dog. His name is, Gus, and the vet estimates he is about a 6month to a year old Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix (the perfect playmate for Lainey). So Morgan now tells people she got another dog for her birthday. Anyways, back to Morgans birthday, that night when David got home, Morgan got to pick where she wanted to go eat and open a present. On that Saturday, we had a really fun cowgirl themed party with lots of family and friends. Morgan was blessed with great company and lots of wonderful gifts. Her big gift was a John Deere Gator electric powered vehicle. Her favorite color is green and she loves tractors since she gets to ride Papas down on the farm. When ever I would take her to Toys'r'us I would ask her which electric car she like best and she always picked the John Deere Gator. So she was very excited to see that she got one for her birthday. I didn't make the cake this year because most of my cake supplies are already packed and in storage. I ended up ordering a simple sheet cake from a local bakery and it was delicious : ) Morgan had a wonderful birthday and we are so grateful for all of our friends and family that made it so special.
