A Sense of Belonging

I anticipated this move being very challenging in terms of adjusting but I was wrong! This community already feels like home. We feel a sense of belonging here and it feels great! I have made so many new friends and reconnected with many old friends. I have met lots of other moms and the kids have had lots of playdates : ) I have gotten involved with many activities, groups, and classes. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming that it has made our adjustment easy. Morgan is liking it too. She has made lots of friends and even has a crush on one of the little boys she plays with (daddy is already a nervous wreck about this "crush"). Morgan is super excited about starting preschool in a couple of weeks. She has already picked out the outfit she wants to wear on the first day. The main purpose of this post is just to let our friends where we came from know that we are adjusting well and to thank all of our new friends here for making us feel welcomed. We can see ourselves here for many many years to come.
