First Post in October

I can't believe how long it has been since my last post! I have been so busy and it seems like the month of October is slipping by. We started off the month with OU/Texas weekend. It was a great game and I am so proud of my Sooners for beating Saxet. David, the kids, and I all headed over to a friends home to watch the beating : ) Morgan and Carson loved playing with their precious 2yr old daughter. The following weekend, we went to Brandon and Ashleys (Brandon is one of Davids co-workers) wedding. Luckily, the grandparents came and stayed all night babysitting the kids. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a lot of fun. After the reception, David and I took advantage of being kid less and went out for coffee and dessert. It was so enjoyable to spend that couple of hours talking and laughing (after being together for 12yrs and married for 8yrs sometimes we forget how to just sit down and laugh together). We had a fabulous time, it was totally worth the getting in at 2:30am and being up at 7am getting ready for church. The next week, we enjoyed a visit from Papa Clint : ) We had a great long visit and both kids had a blast getting spoiled. It was during this spoiling that Papa Clint introduced Morgan to the SkippyJon Jones series of books. Morgan has been obsessed ever since. The series is so cute, it is about a Siamese cat that pretends he is a Chihuahua (El Skippeto) Mexican sword fighter and all of his imaginary adventures. Now finally, this weekend we went to Jacksons (my nephew) birthday party! Jackson will be 2yrs old on the 29th! The party was fun and Carson loved all the boy toys (our girl toys way outweigh our boy toys). So that is what I have been occupied with in a nutshell. David, the kids, and I are doing fine. I'm a little behind with pictures but I'll try to post some within the next week.
