Halloween 2010

We had a fun Halloween this year : ) Both kids had been sick earlier in the week but with the help of antibiotics both were fine by Halloween. We kicked things off by making a trip to the Orr Family Farm. Morgan loves going to the farm and as usual she had a blast. This time we all went including Carson who had never been before and Nana was in town so she went too. We went on a hayride, rode the train, got to see all the animals, milked a cow, Morgan rode a pony, Morgan picked a pumpkin, jumped on the giant bounce pillows, and we rode on the carousel. It was really cold outside but it was well worth it. Our town celebrated Halloween on Saturday the 30th instead of Sunday the 31st. This year, Morgan was a witch and Carson was a lion. Our neighborhood was really in the Halloween spirit and there were tons of trick-or-treaters out. Morgan really had the hang of it this year. I had to prompt her for the first few houses but after that she was on a roll. Carson even did a little trick-or-treating, he hit the first few houses but after that he was content to ride in the wagon. Morgan got lots of candy and she has been on a sugar high ever since. David and I did our parental duty and taste tested a few pieces ourselves ; ) We had a great Halloween and now we are all looking forward to Thanksgiving.
