November and December in a Nutshell

It has been so long since my last post! I have been so busy. Here is a quick update... We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had an early Thanksgiving the night before with just the four of us. Then, on Thanksgiving day we went to Nonnie and Papas for a big family feast. December has been crazy! We had something planned nearly every weekend. We had a couple of parties, a few dinners, and a couple of trips up north to see family. We did fit in a few Christmas light tours. Both kids loved looking at the lights. Morgan even went to ride the Christmas train with daddy (Carson and I stayed in where it was warm). Morgan had her Christmas party at school and Santa even showed up. Earlier in the month, I got my first ear ache since childhood. I went to the doctor only to discover that my eardrum had ruptured. It sure was painful. The worst part was that I lost hearing in that ear for two weeks. Morgan and Carson both had sinus issues and they both developed a short-lived stomach bug. Christmas snuck up on us quick this year! The years seem to go by faster since the kids were born. We had four Christmas celebrations this year! The kids got lots of neat toys and some really cute clothes. In true Talley fashion (aka: neat freak OCD), we had all the decorations, the lights, and the tree put away as well as, all the toys/clothes neatly put away by dinner time today (Dec 26th). Now we are just going to enjoy the last few days of the year and anticipate all the wonderful things 2011 holds.
