We have had a wonderful holiday season. Christmas was very exciting this year because it was the first year that Morgan got the concept of Santa Claus. On Christmas Eve Morgan put out the milk and cookies but not before she taste tested the cookies to make sure they were good. Before bed she checked out the window and looked up the chimney for Santa. We had opened gifts earlier in the evening she got to open gifts from relatives that couldn't be with us for the holidays (ie: Papa Clint, Papa Dennis, Grammy Pat, and Great Papa Graham). One of the gifts she opened was a baby doll playset which included a playpen, highchair, carrier, and stroller. Morgan wanted to sleep in the doll playpen in front of the fireplace to try to see Santa : ) Christmas morning Morgan woke up and was in shock to see all that Santa brought her. She wanted me to hold her hand and walk over to the toys with her. I, still having MRSA, had to wear my mask and gloves but I am just so grateful that I got to spend Christmas at home. After checking out all of the toys we made a short trip to Nonnie and Papa's for more gifts and lunch (of course, I isolated myself and did not touch anything). Overall we had a very blessed Christmas.
