Thanksgiving

The week of Thanksgiving was a busy one. First off, for all of you who don't know, David accepted a new job offer with a different company. He was approached way back in October and had been in negotiations until the week previous to Thanksgiving. We are very excited about this new and unexpected opportunity. David had the full week off which was a big help to me. On Wednesday, we hosted a big Thanksgiving for our friends. I cooked all day Tuesday and Wednesday! Of course, we had way too much food but everyone had a great time. Morgan really enjoyed all of the attention. On Thanksgiving day, Morgan and I started the day off by watching the Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade. I always loved watching it as a child. Morgan really loved the floats, especially the Abby Cadabby and the Dora one. Around lunch we headed over to Nonnies for our family's Thanksgiving lunch. Then, on Friday, we made the drive down to Oklahoma City for Thanksgiving with my other grandparents. Needless to say I probably gained 5lbs : ) We had a fantastic holiday and we are very much looking forward to Christmas!
