Happy Mommy
Things have been going great lately :) First, I have to say how proud I am of Morgan! She has become such a big girl and mommy's helper. Morgan has really been helping out a lot lately with cleaning up, and bringing me things. I know she is going to be such a big help when her brother arrives. We have started attending a new class that is designed to help her prepare for the baby's arrival and she is really embracing it. I am also very proud at how much she has overcome her shyness. She now has come out of her shell and enjoys interacting with other children much more. In the past few weeks, Morgan and I have kept busy with playgroup, her new class, swimming, playing outside (when it is not sweltering), visiting Ms. Rachel, and several indoor projects. We have so many things planned over the next month that I really hope I can keep up : ) Pregnancy is going well. David and I still have not chosen a name but our list keeps getting shorter so hopefully it will not be long. For now, David refers to the baby as "Buster" but he has been informed that this is not the name we are going with. Lol. David and I finally started working on the nursery. We got the bedding in last week and it is adorable. We let Morgan help pick out a theme and she wanted animals, so we did a jungle theme. I wanted to steer clear of muted neutrals so we did the typical green, yellow, and tan with a deep red accent color. The red really pops against the lighter colors. We still have to finish putting the room together but so far it is turning out nicely. I went to the doctor earlier this week and the baby is in the head down position (not that this matters since I am having another c-section). The baby's measurements are pretty much on target and he looks healthy : ) Now, I am just hoping he doesn't try to make a early appearance. After the craziness of my last labor/delivery I just want this one to go as scheduled with no unexpected complications! If things keep going as well as they have been lately, I have nothing to worry about. I am so blessed.
