Super Busy and Super Tired

This past week was another busy one. Morgan and I went non-stop and it sure catching up with me quick. I am so exhausted, sore, and swollen : ( The good part is that Morgan had a blast. On Monday, we got to babysit Jackson for the afternoon : ) Morgan loves her cousin Jackson! We had fun watching him walk (he just took his first steps last week and he is only 8.5 months old!). Tuesday was our errands day. Wednesday, we went to Nana's for a visit, went to see Ms. Alicia, and then made a stop at the new pet store in town to get Lainey some new treats. Morgan really enjoyed seeing all of the animals : ) I am pretty sure she is going to go into a profession in which she gets to work with animals. We have not found one animal (or bug for that matter) that she doesn't like. Her favorite part of visiting the pet store was when she got to pet a bunny. I practically had to drag her out of the store. On Thursday, we got to go to the zoo with Nana, Jennifer, and Jackson. As usual, Morgan loved everything about the zoo. We had lunch, walked around to the different exhibits, rode the carousel, rode the train, and got a toy at the gift shop. It was so hot and by the time we left everything on my body hurt and was swollen. I don't think we will be going back to the zoo until after this baby is born. Friday, Morgan had her big sister class. Again, she did great and really embraced the whole experience. We also got to play with Ms. Rachel. Then, she got to go to Nonnie's for her Friday night sleepover. David and I went out to dinner Friday night to celebrate our 7Th wedding anniversary (a few days early). We had a wonderful dinner and really enjoyed reflecting on the past seven years. Finally, on Saturday, Morgan went to VBS and loved it : ) She learned all about David and Goliath, watched a play, made some crafts, sang songs, etc... She has not stopped talking about it since. I spent all of my free time this week/weekend (along with a lot of help from David) working on the nursery. I am wiped out. I wish I had some time to relax this coming week but we have something planned nearly everyday! Actually, the whole month of August is going to be crazy!!! I have something planned almost everyday during the whole month. My hope is that this busy schedule will make the month go by really fast. Come on September!
