Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year! On Christmas eve it started snowing and by Christmas morning we had 8 inches! It was so awesome to have a white Christmas. The Tuesday before Christmas we took Morgan down to the farm. She got to ride the train, see the lights, ride a pony, jump on the bouncy pillow, pet the animals, and drink hot chocolate. It was so much fun. Then the next day we did our annual R. Light Tour. We wanted to take a carriage ride but it started raining. On Christmas eve we opened the first round of gifts from out-of-town family members and we let Morgan open her gifts from us too. That night it started snowing and by Christmas morning we had 8 inches! It was awesome to have a white Christmas. Morgan was so excited to see what Santa brought : ) That afternoon we headed over to Nonnies but because the roads were covered in snow and ice our normal 25 minute trip took an hour. I am so thankful my SUV is 4-wheel drive. We had a great lunch at Nonnies and enjoyed opening even more presents. It was a wonderful Christmas! We even had the added bonus of having Grammy Pat here to share the holiday with us : ) Morgan and Carson both got so many neat gifts. It is just hard for me to believe that it is already over. Now we are ready to start a wonderful new year : )
