My Heart Aches

The world lost a wonderful man this past Thursday, my great-grandpa (Papa) Bud. Papa was 92 and had a great life but I wanted him to stay here forever. I know I am so blessed to have been so close to my great-grandpa and Morgan is so lucky to have known her great great grandpa. I have so many wonderful memories of Papa and he taught me so many lessons. I never once remember him saying a negative word about anyone and everyone who met him loved his corny jokes. I feel as if I lost one of my best friends and the pain in my heart is nearly unbearable. I know time will ease my pain but for now my heart aches.
Until we meet again Papa you will always be in my heart.

Things Papa would say...
(Papa come here) "I can't I have a bone in my leg"
(Papa how do you feel) "with my hands"
(Papa how are you doing) "mildewing"
(Hey Papa) "Hay is for horses"
(Papa how are you) "compared to what"
"I have two options: slim or none"
"I'll write when I get work"
"Are you eating your wheaties?"
"Money isn't everything... I'd be just as happy with 9 million as I would with 10 million"
"Honey, is (parents, david, ect...) being reasonable and doing everything your way?"
That is just a very few of the quirky little expressions papa would say.
